When I Start Talk About Films, I Mean It Very Seriously

When considering to watch a movie, I would immerse myself with a lot of time spending on the movie I am about to watch in order for me to not get a disappointment or rather worst, cursing at the end of the film. To me, a film is a medium to convey one’s message as well as opening people’s mind on a concept that either new one or an old but viewed from a different perspective. Most of such movies contain a lot of dialogues which somehow causes boredom to some but to me, if the dialogues are interesting, then I don’t care about the action scenes. I mean, if you would see for yourself mostly movies that grabbed the attention at prestigious award giving ceremonies are mostly not quite involved with action. Rather, they are movies about life that gives audience another perspective that is very intriguing.

The best movie of 2008 which makes me wonder whether Batman do really exist because the conflicts in the movie seem so real yet it is the true nature of man. Thumbs up!
For such attitude, my selection of movies and also drama are restricted to a small number. Mainly, I could say dramas such as Liar Game even if it is in Japanese, it is rather interesting because it is an eye opener for people to get to see the true nature of humans and yet enjoy the show as the way it is. It is rather a convincing act in order to attract the audiences, but I find such is very interesting because it teaches a lot about life rather than making you flee away from reality.

I consider this drama is very good with stable plot and lots of twist and revealing much of real life situation even though the characters in-depth and common cliches of Japanese soap opera are to be found mostly when it almost reach the end of series.
Somehow, some films aren’t made to do so. Mostly, I could say local films does not reach my standards even if the masses told me that such is the best film ever, my funny bones does not seems to understand of such commotion. This is because local films tend to grasp audience into another reality which might seem real but actually, it is just another getaway from everyday crisis. There are a lot of false facts inside such films, I could say it is rather intriguing to call such events as conspiracy rather than labeling it as cliches or commercial purpose.

salam aamir
dah lama akak x bukak blog ni. hehe
okaylah, straight to the point. I agree with u about the films. Mostly film yang akak dah tgk (secara general la) ada yang best ada yang hampeh.
Akak jarang jumpa malay movie yang boleh grasp the attention of the audiences. Ada certain movies je yang berjaya buat akak bagi five star (terasa macam pengkritik movie pro plak…hahaha)
Kebanyakan film dari luar negara, mereka ada pandang dari sudut life dan dicampur sikit dgn fantasi. Macam batman, ada jugak scene yg memang berlaku in real life.
that’s all.
p/s: meh la melawat blog akak…huhu

tu la, la ni local film producers lebih suka buat filem utk tujuan komersial daripada nak convey the message kpd audience. tu sebab asyik dok ulang plotline yg berkurun sama ja. sampai bila mau maju.
yarp, afdlin shauki’s film is one the best examples of those who try to set the flow in the industry. walaupon still nampak cam agak cliche tapi ada banyak improvement and new idea yg lain dari filem lokal lain. tak salah meniru kalau utk futher development kan.
